Felling in Danish forests decreases slightly, but levels remain high

After three years of rising chop numbers, the curve has cracked. Statistics Denmark's latest logging figures for 2024 show that some 4.6 million m³ of wood were felled in Danish forests and plantations, representing a decline of approximately 10 percent compared to the previous year.
