About Slicing Technique
When wood is processed into veneer, the cutting technique plays a crucial role in both its aesthetic appearance and technical properties. The choice of cut depends on the desired visual expression and the specific performance requirements of the wood.
Quarter Rift Cut delivers a uniform and dimensionally stable surface, ideal for precision applications.
Quarter Regular Cut highlights the wood’s natural medullary rays, creating a refined and elegant look.
Crown Cut produces a more organic and decorative pattern, perfect for expressive and dynamic designs.
Each method brings out different aspects of the wood’s character — allowing you to choose the perfect match for your project.

About Jointing Technique
When veneer is assembled into larger surfaces, various jointing techniques are used to achieve specific visual effects. Each method offers a unique aesthetic and is chosen based on the desired look and application:
Slip Matched
Veneer strips are placed side by side in the same direction, maintaining a consistent grain pattern. This creates a calm, uniform appearance.
Reverse Slip Matched
Similar to slip matching, but every other strip is flipped 180 degrees. This technique minimizes color variation and results in a more balanced look.
Mix Matched
Veneer pieces are arranged randomly to mimic the natural variation of solid wood. The result is a lively, organic pattern full of character.
Book Matched
Each veneer strip is opened like a book, creating a mirrored grain pattern. This produces a striking, symmetrical visual effect.
The choice of jointing technique depends on the desired aesthetic — from classic and elegant to dynamic and natural wood textures.
