Gold Glimpses in the Spruce Needles

Finnish scientists have found tiny traces of gold in conifers. Aspiring gold diggers might have to wait a bit anyway to switch out pickaxes and shovels with new instruments, for the gold particles are so small that they can neither be seen with the naked eye nor mined commercially.
